Is he just humiliated?

Hi, I have a pair of turkeys, a BBW hen and a burbon red Tom. Recently my Tom attacked my hen, so I locked him in the coop for two days to humble him. He had a large space with food and water and wasn’t stressed we all. He now is not agressive to me at all and is kinda just lurking around. Is he sick or humiliated?

Do you only have those two turkeys? What’s their living space like, and how often do you interact with them? It doesn‘t sound like he’s sick, he might just see you as more powerful now.

Yes only them. An acre to roam during the day and a spacious coop at night. I interact with them 3-4 times daily
