Is he pure bantam cochin??

so i bought this cockerel and not sure if he is pure i wasnt charged a lot for him fairly low around 15 AUD at the time i didnt know his breed so just asking about him also what comb type does he have?

I’m pretty sure he’s a mix due to his comb type. It looks to be a pea comb, but I’m not 100% sure on that. He’s very handsome!

his feet are FULL of feathers is it ok that we clip them as they get very dirty?

You can clip the feathers on his feet, no problem.

That looks like a pea comb, which is wrong for a Cochin but right for a Brahma. Both Cochins and Brahmas have feathered feet, and both breeds come in bantam size.

So I'm guessing he's at least part Brahma, although he might be part Cochin as well.
