Is he/she a brown black modern game batam?

What breed is he/she?
It has very small pale comb until recently the comb and wattles grown quite big and red.

Mum who had chickens before was convinced that it is a hen but the sickle feathers and the small slim feathers around the neck (hackle feathers?) made me think otherwise.

The google lens search suggested that he/she might be a modern game batam. It has a very slender built and long slack legs.

Is it a he or she? Around 5mth 6mths old now.

Here is her photo a month ago. Pale and small comb.

It's a cockerel and perhaps a modern game cross of some sort.

Looks right for breed. Not sure on color though, probably mixed. Definitely male

The color is not a standardized one, but he is a Modern Game cockerel.

All male chickens have spurs unless they have hormone issues. He may be late in getting his spurs.

Dull feathers is not a way to sex a chicken. There are many "dull" colors, and the males still can come in those colors.
