Is Honey fat?

Hey everyone! Is my female pekin Honey overweight?

My avian vet told me that it is almost impossible to tell by looking at a bird if they are overweight. You have to feel the breast on either side of the keel bone. If it is rounded and bulgey she might be overweight. If it is concave she might be thin. Though it is hard to determine without feeling many appropriate weight birds.

I thought my pekin was overweight and I took her to the vet. The vet told me she was thin and recommended checking for parasites.

A healthy pekin will look very...er-rotund, compared to other breeds, as they were developed as meat birds.

Thank you everyone! I'm still having difficulty. I want to say she's on the overweight side, because she appears to have visible cleavage. But then at certain angles it goes away.

The "cleavage" is from her esophagus expanding. Some ducks appear to have larger boobs per se, but it's just their temporary food storage. Here is a good read **link warning- graphic pictures of duck digestive system dissection".
