I hatched eggs in May and now ist is the end of December....I have gotten rid of 6 roosters out of the 12 babies that i hatched. well just about 15 minutes ago i looked at one of my "hens" (it was one of the babies) and while i was watching I saw "her" doing THE DANCE to another hen...

this particle "hen" has a few longer feathers than the rest of the hens, but i am still not sure if she is a hen or not!! Can someone help me determine what gender this chicken is?? thank you!!

Sometimes a Hen mounts another as a sign of dominance. The long feathers are a little suspicious though...

Yeah, I have to agree with ChickenWhisperer123- long tail feathers are not a good sign. You may have a late bloomer on your hands. When "she" starts crowing you'll know for sure.
