Strange but serious question, one of my 7 week old Black Australops is making noises that are sounding like a duck. Lately they've (the band of hooligans) have discovered my neighbors 1200 acre bean field and love to make a run for it. Most of the time I catch them before they dive in, I always do a head count seeing I'm missing 5 quail. And sure enough it's always 1 or 2 guineas, a buff, 2 or 3 rir's and the australop, and I always know who it is. How? the quacking mimicking sound and I don't and there are no ducks around. anyone have any ideas? experiences? anything?
