K. I was basing my opinion on saddle feathers and that I did not see wattles... till you said cockerel. Then upon closer inspection or better glasses, I do see little bit wattles and pointy tail feathers but it does look a little Americana to me also. I don't know how old this cute little bird is... but I still feel a little on the fence. Hmmm. Just when I think I got it down.... lol
