I'm wondering if my duck eggs are quitters because although they are moving inside and there are blood vessels, i can't really tell if they are growing or not. They are on day 9 or 10 and all i can see is two small darker spots in the middle that move back and forth.

if you can see them move they are prob. fine
a little advise for you...sit on your hands and dont candle for atleast a week. candle them to much and you will end up killing them

Ditto what Streemers said- If you handle them too much, you are going to end up killing them.

Not much shows on duck eggs that are only 9-10 days along...you really need to be patient with eggs and only candle maybe once or twice a week.

As long as you see veins and an embryo then I wouldn't worry. The black dots you are seeing are the eyes developing. The movement is probably a pulse, so just give them time. =]
