Is it bad to feed a 3 month old chicken laying pellets?

I just got a bantam chicken yesterday that is younger than all the rest of the chickens. She is about three months old but I only have the laying pellets. I am just wondering if it is okay for her to eat them or will I have to get other food for her?

It should be ok, I usually switch mine over around 4 months old.

Unless you have other chicks, or will be having some sometime soon, I wouldnt bother buying chick feed.

I think the main thing in them that would bother her is the calcium. She may start laying soon, though, so it might not be too long for her to be building it up.
