Is it Cochin, and what gender?

Hi,
I bought what was supposed to be 8 Wyandot pullets. My daughter hand picked the first 7 and hubby was getting impatient. He told the clerk to just grab the last one.

I believe I may have a Cochin cockerrel but not having another bird to compare with and being a first time chicken Mom I just dont know.

A Pekin is what is called a Cochin Bantam in the US. Both @featheredplanets and I are from the UK; we call them Pekins over here.
