Is it normal for a molting hen to be laying?

I have a molting hen that is about a year old, she has laid 2 eggs in the past few days.

I thought molting hens generally do not lay eggs, is it rare for a molting bird to be laying eggs?

While some hens will stop completely during molt others will just slow down and still lay an egg, it is an individual thing and nutrition comes into play as well.
