Is it ok for my black sex link to lay a sticky shell egg

Hi my black sex link is 1 1/2 year old and has been laying an egg that has a sticky shell. I'm wondering if this is ok or if it's signs of something major? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

What exactly do you mean by sticky? Freshly laid eggs can be tacky but dry smooth.
