hey its brandon,
i wanted to hatch chicks under a hen rather than incubator for a while now, and one of my hens became extremely broody....but shes a commercial egg layer, a warren(isa brown) which has supposed to have broodieness bred out of her.
so, should i put eggs under her and make my dream come true? shes extremely protective over her eggs, and pecks and squeels, but will she be a good mother and be good at "cooking" the eggs????
please help!!! i neeeeeddd to know!

thanks in advance

go for it.... what have you got to lose? if she is broody she is broody. let her do her thing. she will probably do just fine.
