Is it OK to take my Chickens to the Vet? Will They Dislike it or What?

is it ok to take my 3 chickens to the vet when i get them? will the vet preform tests to make sure they are all healthy and will it traumatize the chickens ? thankyou!!!

I'd first find out if your vet does chickens. There's a lot of information on these boards that can help you get through a bunch of the basic issues, too, which would save you money.

If your vet will see your chickens, I think taking them in for a basic wellness exam is a good idea. Your vet can help you setup a de-worming and feeding program, too. My vet will see 2 birds for $45 or 4 for $60, I think it's money well spent.
