IS it ok to take the chicks outside a while?

Here in Alabama it is pretty warm these days. About in the high 80s. My chicks are about a week old. I was thinking about taking the chicks outside during the day some and then bring them back in at night. Is this ok? I am in the process of building their coop and run and should have it done this week. Right now, during the day, I open my windows and the doors and the chicks are in a playpen. I have lots of light but the breeze comes through the windows and screen door. They seem just perfect and seem to behaving the time of their life in the playpen. I have been changing out their flooring every morning. I lay down new newspaper and then throw in some dried leaves. They like scratching around in it. I put new feed and water in there when I change the floor out. Is it ok to take them outdoors after a couple weeks and let them play in their run for a little while?

With those high day time temps it should be fine to let them play in their new run for a while.
