Is it okay to use this bedding???

the link above will lead to the brand I'm talking about.. I just moved my two 3 week old chickens into there bigger hutch and decided to lay down shavings instead of newspaper..I know I read on here that some shavings are bad for chickens but I looked everywhere on the bag and it didn't say what kind of shavings they were..any help would be great!! so that way I can take out the bedding before it causes any problems..I use this kind for my ferrets and they love it but then again they arn't chickens!! thanks for your help everyone

We just use pine shavings from Tractor Supply or WalMart for all our chickens' litter. The cedar shavings are the ones you don't want to use around your baby chicks. A few members do use cedar shavings, sparingly, in nest boxes.
