Hey everyone my ringnecks have been laying for a little over a month and I have not gotten any fertile eggs yet. I was wondering if it would be possible to extract semen from the male and fertilize the females? I'm sure it can be done, i was just wondering considering they are so flighty. Has anyone ever done this?

I know they do it with chickens, anyway, so I don't know why not. I wonder if they simply are not mature enough yet. Maybe do a search on "AI" on here, I usually see it abbreviated like that.

Francy Herman artificially inseminates with great success. You need to know what you are doing to get good results. You can damage birds if not done correctly.
