Is it possible to re-socialise a chicken?

I agree with the others, I handled all my chicks from day old, several times a day and I have a hen who I still have to chase everywhere. She is the most dominant hen as well, she bosses the cockerel.

Thanks for the replies. What I was thinking about is the possibility of training chickens to behave more the way we want them to.

For example, if a rooster becomes aggressive there are steps to take to teach it who is boss and stop the behaviour.

Imo and my experience starting out with the attitude that you are going to show a rooster who is boss is disastrous.

I've discovered from personal experience that chickens have as complex emotional lives as we humans.
