A couple of my chickens are gurgling when they breathe. Other than that they are acting fine. No other symptoms. What do they have and how do I treat it?

thats almost certainly a respiratory infection. That happens to mine always a few come down after it rains a lot

If they are eating well and not struggling to breathe I wait to see if it'll clear up on its own, but if it doesnt seem to be improving I give an injection of tylan 50 and the majority of cases it clears up within a couple days.

Thats what I thought but when I searched on here it said that they will have swollen faces.....? Mine just gurgle so I started to question if it was they had or not. I put agromyasin (sp) in their water. I have never heard of Tylan 50. Is it refrigerated? We only have one feed store around here and I didnt see any kind of antibiotics in their refrigerated section. I have read up on giving chicken injections quite a bit, and the only question I have is, is there any chance of injecting it into the crop instead of the breast muscle? That is my only worry. I dont know if that will matter either, though.
