Is it safe to eat a chicken that a hawk killed?

I wouldn't eat it

a hawk will kill mice and rats and rips their flesh

that blood flesh and disease from beak and talons will transfer to the chicken when the hawk grabs the chicken

Thank you!!! Just happened to me and I had cleaned it bc my husband said he’d make it in soup. Personally I am not eating my baby. But OMG you’re right!

It is perfectly safe to eat. Chickens eat mice, dung, rotten things, snakes, maggots, and they still are considered safe to eat. So what's the problem if a hawk touched them?
