Is it safe to give duck pine pelletised bedding

I have 2, 4 week old ducks and my grandparents wanted me to get a bedding that would stop the odor so I bought the pelletized pine pellets that you add water to and they expand into fluffy bedding. Is that safe for ducks? I can’t find anything online, but I know you put in chicken runs

I thought with pellet bedding it turns to sawdust as it gets wet didn't know you wet it before you put it down.

i wet it to make it fluffy for them because they are house ducks and need some ripe of fluffy stuff but I mix in pellets to absorb it I just disinterested know if it was safe for them or not

Since they are 4 weeks old hopefully they won't eat it. Younger ones will sometimes eat stuff like this. As long as it is pine pellets.
