Well my first chicks started internaly churping at 8:40am this morning by 9:30 it cracked its shell its now 6:45pm and it cracked the egg like a pip but not all the way thru more like pushed the shell up a little its been churping off and on all day. But it has stopped the last hour. How long do you leave it in there? a few more hours or till morning?

The first time me and my friend hatched chicks in the incubator we stayed up all night and didn't get ANY sleep! It was too exciting......and LONG.

Can take 24 hours and longer sometimes from a pip to the chick hatching out of the egg. Patience!

Our first chick started pipping sometime yesterday morning and never finished til this morning. It was the longest day of my life I think .... not to mention Ive been sick and the bators are right next to the bed so not only was I not sleeping well I kept listening for peeps during the night

Anyway, be patient. It will happen.
