Is it too early to predict if they are boys or girls.

I have 8 BO chicks that I hatched 3 weeks ago. They all look a like to me. Any thoughts on what they are?

Sorry, but I just can't tell yet. It's a bit early.

You can predict sorta for funsies. Look at the thickness of the legs. If any have legs that seem godzilla like and stand out, there might be your roo. Also, look closely at the combs and see if any have a little extra oomp on their nubbings.

Then give it another couple-three weeks and see if you were right.

we're playing the same game with our four week old RIR's (or at least three look like rir's, a few might be a buff/red mix, different coloring).
here's a few pics of the suspect and a pullet together. bodies are that much different, legs aren't different, just the comb seems larger and more colorful.
thoughts?
