Here is a picture of my beautiful black Langshan, Lola....at least I thought she was a Lola. Is she Levi? In this picture she/he is about 17 weeks old....

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated! It wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen, as I have another, definite female Langshan...maybe some babies are in the future?

at 17 weeks old I can´t see the usual cockerel saddle or hackle shiny feathers on the bird...maybe she is a very tall pullet??

She's got some big 'ol feet!!

She looks like a hen but I don't have any that breed so I'm no expert. I say it's a Lola!!

Yup its LOLA, you see her comb getting reder? she is close to 20 weeks, expect eggs, from 20 weeks from that point..WOW those Langshan hens get very tall..

She is enormous! She is much much bigger than my other Langshan hen, like head and shoulders taller. She is just such a HUUUUUUGE girl, I was certain she was a Roo. I am thrilled if she isn't! No cocka-doodle-dooing....i just figured she was subordinate to my other roo! Thanks so much!

lola looks like a hen but i am not sure i don't know the breed very well! but i hope you findout soon

Guess I don't know this breed because my first thought was roo.

Well, I am still not sure about Lola/Levi... I would think if he/she was a roo, I would have heard a crow by now, but I did catch him/her grab a hen by the back of the head and pin her down, and my Boss Roo was all over him/her in a second. I am on my way out to the run now to get some today pictures....

Here are some new pictures, taken 5 minutes ago of Lola....it should be noted here that Lola was named Lola after the Kink's song "Lola". You know, the one where it says "she talks like a woman but walks like a man, oh my Lola...." because I didn't know (and still don't know) if it was a boy or girl....
