Is my brown leghorn a Roo?

I'm pretty sure my 2 month old brown leghorn is a Roo. Alvin (my son insisted on naming the chick Alvin because it looked like a chipmunk), perhaps my son knew something we didn't. Last week Alvin began making some bleating noises. Not a cockadoodldoo more of a goat sound. Pics below.

That coloring is all male. Females look much different.
