It's my first time hatching anything. I bought a r-com mini 3 egg incubator specially so I could hatch the eggs easily without having to turn them myself. and things. Then I can just enjoy them and not worry while I'm in college. I started with 3 call duck eggs, one was infertile from the beginning and I think I have recently lost one as there is just a dark patch that looks like its stuck to the side of the egg and wont move. The last one has been great right the way through. It's on day 23 today. I can see movement against the air cell thingy and the egg is wiggling about in the incubator. Does this mean it's ready to hatch? I've a feeling I'll have to help it as everyone has said call ducks are very hard to hatch and have trouble getting out of the egg. Is it okay to stop turning it now then? I've not turned since yesterday as it was wiggling around so much I thought it may be early. I can also hear tapping against the shell if I put my ear by it. What can I do to make it easier for it to get out? Also, my incubator stopped turning the eggs a few days ago so I've had to turn them by hand but I think that may be why the other egg died. If anyone knows how to fix this once they are out, please let me know.
Anyway, so basically I'm worried about my eggy and am determined it survive. If I need to help it, what do I do and how do I know when it's time?
Thanks :)

First you need to candle the egg to see if the duckling has internally piped if it has then you wait till someone else can help you, not having calls I would not want to give advise that isn't right but this will move you to the top. Candle and let us know what you see if duckling has internally piped you'll see the bill in the air sac.

The duckling has internally piped. I did some googling and it said it can take up to 24 hours. Not sure how long it has been internally piped though. Nobody will be here tomorrow if it needs help so I'm really worried about it due to the call duck hatching problems :/
