is my chick dying?

You can give 2 drops of the full strength Corid twice a day, just to get some meds into her. With intestinal illness, they usually are not hungry, especially if things are not working well. How does her crop feel? Is it empty or puffy like a balloon? Take care just giving her a drop or two of water at a time, then letting her swallow.
her crop feels empty like she hasn't been eating she eats every so often i will give her the drops in the morning and at night, thank you

Sadly.. my chick had to be put down two days ago. She had indeed botulism.. thanks for the help anyways..

:hugsIt sounds like you were able to get some testing done, I'm sorry to hear you lost her to Botulism. Any clue as to what she may have ingested? You may want to take a look around to find out what it was so you can remove it so your other chickens don't get sick too.

I am so sorry to hear your hen passed peacefully. In the end it is the last gift of love we can give them, saying goodbye with dignity.

Wet litter may harbor Botulism. I had 2 hens with symptoms, lost one before I knew what it was. The other, I cannot remember what I tubed her with, water, with? NO eyedropper--must tube the bird, but she recovered very soon, and I learned about wet litter around the waterers. Cleaned it up and dried the area, now if water is spilled and area around is wet, I have scooped ALL wet litter away, hung a 100W bulb over the wet floor area until DRY, added new dry litter. Fortunately, it is not common! And with vigilance,And placing the waterers in a raised wide board, I do not have wet litter around them and have never had another bird infected. Good luck.
