hi i have a 5 week old welsummer chick i think its a cockeral i noticed to day that its feathers are puffed up and his head is buried into its body and it keeps pecking its selfand it is just stood wont lay down it lives indoors in ahome made brooder on newspaper and saw dust dont think its drinking but have seen it eat itis housed with 3 other chicks there is some runny poo in the cage but dont no if its from him could anyone give me an idea if there is some thing wrong

Is it too cold, or too hot, what's the temp in the brooder? What are you feeding it? Does it walk around at all? What are you putting in its' water? Anything?

temprature is 80degrees does move sometimes and no there is nothing in water should i be puttin something in it

thanks had it that as 2 of the other chicks are a week younger he is ok now
