Is my chicken getting ready to lat?

She has been pacing alot inside and outside the coop, Scratching the nesting boxes. She hasn’t been eating much. My concern is that he beak is open like she’s thirsty. She seems to focused on the nest to come out and drink

I just went out and sure enough she laid her an egg. Not sure exactly how old she is.
