I've had this hen about a year and she was laying when I got her. I have no roosters. For the past 2 days she is always on the nest, keeping the other 7 from getting to it (they all like to lay in the same nest ???) She pecks at us when we try to move her. Is she becoming broody? Since there is no way she can hatch any eggs as they are not fertile, what should I do with her? If I leave her alone, will she eventually get over it or should I move her to another separate spot from the others & just ... ???
