Is my cockerel about to Crow?

My Barred Rock has been make some odd noises.
It sounds like "Urr Wu" when I open the coop door.
Is he practicing to crow? This is the first time to raise chickens and was wondering if this is the case.
He is little over 2 months old.

It sounds like crowing to me. I can't wait for two months down the road.

I have had several that started trying to crow between 8-12 weeks of age. It is always so cute and funny. My youngest cockerel is an olive egger that's about 2 months old and he just started making this terrible deep squawk this morning that sounds kinda like a crow lol.

I’m always so shocked to hear that other people’s Roos start crowing so young. Mine is just shy of 4 months old and I haven’t heard a peep from him. My hens on the other hand are really noisy. Lol
