Hello! First time incubator here. I’ve had a very hard time with incubation because my ducks eggs were not very strong, but after months of changing things we finally got a couple ducklings growing. Sadly one passed during the middle of incubation and now we have one left (and will be getting a couple buddies after hatch). It is currently day 28, and last night I noticed that the edge of the air sac on the outside of the egg, has turned slightly yellow on it’s boarder. We had taken it out to candle it and baby is still moving and has been alot for a few days. We are unsure if it internally pipped or not. While briefly candling you can see a sudden flashing movement in the air sac but then it went away. This morning we went to check and still no pip outside and he’s not moving as much as he use to. I’m afraid for my little one, and unsure what to do or if I just need to be patient and wait. We have two heat tracking and humidity trackers and it’s on 99.5F and 71% that I was told to keep between 65-75% in lock down with the air vent fully open. While writing this, I finally heard a tiny little chirp so I think he now internally pipped, but should the yellowing and little movement be of concern?
