Is my hen trying to communicate with me?

So my husband sends me a picture of the eggs he collected today... on one of the eggs it looks like writing, I question him and he says it just looks like "chicken scratch" to him.

What do you think?

Chicken scratch. They don't speak English, let alone write in cursive.

Anything's possible. After all, there was a talking horse called Mister Ed.

I suspect your husbands fingernail, I do it all the time for the people that I give my eggs to.
