Hi everyone,
New to forum and have been reading for a couple of months about all the posts for chicken and pheasants. i have 10 free range chicken and i also breed coturnix quail for food on the side. I have 3 pairs of ornamental pheasants, 1 pair each of lady amherst, red golden and silver. The pheasants are 3 separate cages which are 8x16 feet. I also have 1/4 acre of bamboo which has grown quiet thick and was wondering if i can surround it 10 to 12 feet of wire panels with a gate, will that be enough to contain the pheasants inside or they will fly off?? i cannot put netting on top as the timber bamboo is more than 50 feet tall while the other 4 species of bamboo are between 10 and 30 feet tall. i thought by doing so it will be a perfect enclosure for the pheasants..do you think its feasible.
thanks

The first time they get spooked they will be gone.Bamboo is excellent cover for pheasants. Is there any way you could cut it down enough to put a net over the top.
