My chicks were supposed to be sexed but I have a feeling this one is a roo,it's 1 week old and is a mix, I think it's my red x c. rock:

Wouldn't that cross be a sex-link? That would make it a girl. Sometimes you can spot the roos really early just by the way they behave. If you stick your hand in the brooder, and the same one always attacks your rings- for example

It has a roo-ish shape to the feathers on its wings. Something I picked up on with this springs chicks. Most of the breeds, the boys had blockier looking feathering on their wings where the girls had some longer primaries too. Of couse, this isn't holding true with all the breeds I have. For example the GP Hamburgs all look the same.
