I just got a Mille fleur bantam today at the feed store. She was sitting quietly in the corner and I thought she was so sweet. Her tail is not up so I thought she was nervous. She was fine all day until about an hour ago. Now she sound asleep on my stomach. No other symptoms whatsoever. Should I be worried? Could she just be relaxed? She was in a noisy chaotic environment at the feed store surrounded by huge chickens, ducks and tons of loud and proud bantam roosters. When she wakes up she is bright eyed and alert.

I say give her sometime to adjust to her new home- as long as she eats drinks and no other symptoms - then I wouldn't worry- your new- the surroundings are new- she's enjoying the quiet. Haha- if she doesn't come out of it with new symptoms or stops eating drinking then there may be something there

Ok- based on photos she looks fine- it's all new and she may have been stressed being the situation - so as I stated give her some time to relax and adjust to her new life- just worry if new symptoms appear and she stops all food water intake

Someone said she is Mille fleur bantam. No fluffy butt. Wish she was a cochin! My two Cochins just turned out to be roosters. :-(
