IMG_4997.JPG IMG_4999.JPG This is Beignet. I bought her as a she but her hairdo looks different than her sisters. Her hair looks more like its forming a male hairdo. What do yall think? Am I completely wrong?

It's too early to say with certainty, but I would guess it is a cockerel because of the way it is feathering out compared to the other. But it's only a guess and they are different varieties, so that may play a part, too. I would hold onto it until you know for sure, which could take quite a while. Polish are tough to sex.

In my experience, and by experience I mean I've only owned 5 Polish, my cockerels had Mohawks while the pullets had a more rounded hairdo as chicks. Beignet does kind of look like my male Polish of the same color at that age... don't give up hope yet! Give her some time, maybe she's just maturing different :)
