I have a 5 month old black copper marans cockerel that has yet to crow and shows zero interest in the lady's. Is this normal? Are they just a slow maturing breed? Thanks!

There is a younger polish who is about 2 months old who hasn't crowed yet either in the same coop. My silkie roo in the other coop crows constantly and the little month old silkie mix cockerels in the grow out coop do too.Is there another cockerel or cock in your flock? He may just be slower maturing.
My bcm cockerel seems scared of the larger girls. Several fought him for dominance when I introduced him as a 3 month old. They don't give him much grief now but I have to wonder if that is the reason he does not crow or try to mount them.My maran hasn't crowed yet, but tries to mount most of the larger pullets. And my bantam roo has shown no signs of being interested in the ladies. He's pretty chill, and actually spends most of them time by himself when we let them free range.
My maran pullet squares up with him if he tries to mount her. Most of the other ones squawk if he tries anything, but it doesn't stop him from trying. All of mine were raised together from week 1ish. My bantam roo just wants to eat lol.My bcm cockerel seems scared of the larger girls. Several fought him for dominance when I introduced him as a 3 month old.
