Is my silkie a mix?

Hi y'all! I've got a black silkie I purchased from a local breeder, but it isn't developing the same as my other silkies of the same age (different breeder)

It's about 8 weeks old now. The breeder also had ameraucana, birchin marans, opal legbars, and white legbars.
Any ideas on potential mix? Or just another look for silkie? (1st pic most recent, 2nd at about a week old)

There doesn't seem to me like s/he's a mix. No red flags.

I agree. I wouldn't jump to that conclusion yet. Probably just hatchery-quality

Agree, looks like full silkie. Sometimes they feather in unevenly and look quite awkward for awhile. The feathering should even out with time.

Thank you! It definitely has the feet, the crest threw me off compared to the others.
