Hey ya’ll!!

I just wanted to pop in for some expert advice

Is my 16 wk old Silkie a Rooster??

We can’t decide!!! We have a Barbu D’Uccle that’s the same age and we are 100% he’s one!! He even started crowing a squeaky little crow a week ago! I couldn’t believe he was crowing so young! (I posted a pic of him too because he’s so stinkin cute)

What do you think of the Silkie?!? Thanks in advance!!!

It looks like a cockerel to me but I am not positive. Hopefully others will chime in on this one. Or it may be a case where you have to wait until you get an egg or a crow.

That’s why I am thinking! Up until this week I was sure she was a hen!

The D'uccle is a rooster, the Silkie is a bit more confusing. Looks boyish though. My Old English Game cockerel just crowed at 8 weeks!
