is my silkie broody

she sits in her nest box all the time and her roo stands guard over the box... but there is no eggs in there. should I put some eggs in there and see what happens

congrats... i bought some black cornish bantams online.. so should I just put them in there and is there a certain time... this would be my first time hatching eggs that i got from ebay( already got a game hen on some eggs only day 3 here)
