Is my silverlace hen sick?

She has lots of water in her poop all the time with small amount of solid stuffs. Her vent is wet all the time since she started to lay eggs 4 weeks ago. She lays one egg in about a week. The wet area is about two by two inches without any bad smell. Everything else seems fine. She eats, drinks, and active. Is the wet vent normal? Thanks a lot.

I had a Brahma hen that looked like that, what I did was trim her feathers pretty close around her vent area. If you do that you might be able to tell whats going on more, if it's just moist I wouldn't think its anything to worry about. Can you feel her abdomen down close to her vent to see if you can feel an egg?
