Did you end up putting a fan in this one? I find if I put the water right under the fan I get higher humidity. My old sears, with lots of vent holes, if I use a grout sponge in a small baking dish gets up to 100% with everything open, I know its too high when my digital hygrometer quits working!

Just drill a couple holes in the top, and one below your heating element.

Natural convection will suck air in the bottom below the heat, and push it out the holes in the top.

Ok... I just went at lunch and picked up a Hovabator 1602n from the feed store. Let's hope I can get it regulated and operational before tomorrow evening. I have eggs in the bator and tomorrow is day 18.

I've never used a Hovabator, and I'm only familiar with the LG. This probably isn't the proper time to learn a new incubator, but I'm in a mad dash to get SOMETHING Working before these eggs hit day 18....

...and I'm at work!
