We are new to raising baby chicks, we are keeping them inside our home which is set to 68 degrees and are using producers pride brooding plate . We have four birds and there haven’t been any issues at all however, last night all 4 chicks were sleeping at the opposite end of the brooder box huddled together. I’m wondering if it’s too warm for them? I just am confused because they use it during the day just fine. They’re running around acting normal and happy and will go under for a snooze and back out but last night they slept on the opposite end .
We have already moved it from lowest level to at an angle, then evenly up another level through out their first week .
