This is organic, no-salt, no-sugar PB. I cleaned out my fridge and found 2 jars of PB that is nearly past due. We'll never eat it in time. Can I feed it to the girls as-is? Or maybe make some "cookies with oatmeal, etc so its not so sticky? What's the wisdom on PB for chickens?

Thanks
Stacey

I'm imagining chickens coated in peanut butter and them wiping it all over the place.

Go for it, mix it with other stuff if you want, just spread the jars out over some time so they don't get too much treats at once.

Mix it with some oat meal. Stand back and watch the fights. They will go after it like it was crickets or ants. Remember it is a treat and a food source.
