Been getting soft shells have gave tums yesterday
What about this kind of calcium? Would it be OK to pop a pill in hens mouth? They’re actually capsules that can be opened and the powder sprinkled on food or in a mash I guess. Because I just happen to have these and wonder if I could ever use them when chickens or ducks need a calcium boost ?

I have no idea if that is safe or not. Most people use human calcium citrate with D3. It is about $6-12 at most big drug chains. Calcium carbonate is okay but the citrate is more quickly absorbed by the body.
Thank you very much
