One of our hens (10 weeks old) is acting a bit weird, but I don't know if she is ill or not.
She is very frequently doing this odd head bobbing motion (while in place), a but like how a parrot would regurgitate - same sort of motion but going a bit further up and down, and instead of numerous together, it is more just like one at a time (
)
Other than that she seems to like to be a bit of a loner - often standing in a corner on her own, closing her eyes, while the others are going around and doing their own thing.
Sometimes she is alright though, she still goes in the coop with the others (most of the time - and always at night), and earlier today she came to say hello to me when I opened one of the run's doors. Most of the time recently though, she'll stay on her own and the others will come.
And she is still eating and drinking.
Earlier today she vomited all over me as I tried to pick her up but I think I just pressed against the wrong places and she probably had just finished eating and drinking.
In light of the fact that she is still eating and drinking, and sometimes behaving like the others, I reckon she is ok. But I don't really know what the bobbing motion she is doing is, as the others don't do it. Tried to get a video of it but she doesn't do it all the time...
