My banty leghorn hasn't laid for over a week, is one year old this month, has less appetite, but is eating.
She is acting normally, just doesn't lay or fill her crop. She is loosing feathers as she preens, but no bare spots.
(She has always had very dense feathering) I've read some birds don't get bare spots it is like they "shed", if she were a dog, I'd say she is shedding. I'm concerned she doesn't eat much.
