She's 17 week old ISA brown and they've been known to lay at 18 weeks, is this squatting?

Here she is with her feathers flowing in the wind... She just randomly sat down?

Going by her comb and wattles, she might start laying soon. If you don't have a nesting box set up you might want to do that. It helps to put a plastic egg in there - they don't like to be first. Enjoy all those lovely eggs!

can't tell from your picture if she is or not but usually there head is down not up, and the wings out to the sides like these pictures

Oh okay, false alarm! I thought her comb and wattles were too small, they only look red in that pic cos she was in the sun, but I'm not gonna buy any more grower when I run out I'm going onto layer even if she's not quiet there, soon she shall be :D

good idea mine started laying at 17 weeks 6 days old and i have too much starter left(had just opened my last bag thinking they wouldn't lay for 2 more weeks WRONG!) but im gonna give it to a friend that has chicks! Sombody said if you switch it may delay laying a tiny bit but the pullets bones and egg shells will be stronger and it may be healthier for them? Not sure?
