guys something is wierd on daisy my ducks neck. the feathers are a diffrent color and wierd looking like a rust color. i just noticed it this morning. im quite nervous but im hoping its nothing bad.

You may want to post a photo so we can see what her neck looks like. If the feathers have turned rusty colored, I would imagine it 's from bleeding.

Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you. Have you examined the bird? Checking for any kind of foreign substance or wound would be the first step.

I would let her swim in a tub of lukewarm water, rinsing the feathers, and take a good look.

i would love to do that but its -34 during the day now so i cant ill check in spring and i picked her up and i think its a marking

If she is eating and acting normal.....Leave her alone......I am very aware of Cold temps myself......-27 Celsius here last night.....Brrrrrr!
